About the Event and the Tug McGraw Foundation
The event will be an exciting day of Sporting Clay Competition followed by an informal lunch and silent auction. The event course will consist of 15 stations and 15 teams. Each team will shoot with a celebrity and professional shooter. Teams will move from station to station to shoot at different target presentations. The more targets the teams hit the better the team’s overall score will be!
The funds raised during the event will be directed to help the Tug McGraw Foundation support research to improve the lives of our military service members who have been affected by Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The foundation also raises funds to increase public awareness to improve quality of life for those affect by brain tumors.
This year’s event takes place at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex in Nashville, TN. The event includes an informal lunch. A silent auction filled with exclusive items, including sports memorabilia, wines from the Napa Valley, and lifestyle experiences.
Thank you in advance for your consideration to participate. We sincerely believe you can help make this inaugural event a major success and most importantly play a role in helping us bring awareness to civilians about PTSD and TBI.
“Ya Gotta Believe”
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
TMF was established by Tug McGraw in 2003 to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors and their families by stimulating and facilitating research that addresses the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual impact of the disease. Recognizing that other areas of brain research—such as traumatic brain injury and Post traumatic Stress Disorder—inform the science surrounding brain cancer, TMF has widened its scope to include a broader spectrum of the neuroscience to support advances in medical care and quality of life for our nation’s battle-wounded, ill and injured service members.
